FFU sleeper
Synthetic sleepers - stable high-speed railway sleepers, are made of continuous glass fiber reinforced polyurethane foam. Synthetic sleepers are a lightweight, high-strength, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly type of sleeper. They overcome the problems of poor energy absorption, easy breakage, inconvenient construction, and high maintenance costs associated with concrete sleepers. They also eliminate the disadvantages of poor weather resistance, poor corrosion resistance, lack of waterproofing, and non-flame retardant properties of wooden sleepers. Synthetic sleepers are a substitute for wooden and concrete sleepers. They are widely used in urban rail transit vehicle depots, turnouts, bridges, and other road sections, and can also be promoted for use on high-speed railways and intercity railways.
